About~!

Ever wonder where an imaginary friend goes after it's creator has gotten too old for it? They go to Fosters home for Imaginary Friends, where they are fed and looked after until another child comes to adopt them for their very own.

The series was created by Craig McCracken (Powerpuff Girls) and premiered on on August 13, 2004, as a 90-minute television movie called "House of Bloo" and is now being followed up with a series of 30 minute episodes that are still in production today.

It has won Emmy awards for art direction (Mike Moon), character design (Craig McCracken) and storyboard. (Ed Baker "World Wide Wabbit") The show has also won two Annie awards for Best Original Music in a Television Series ("Duchess of Wails") and Production Design in an Animated TV Series (McCracken with Mike Moon, David Dunnet and Martin Ansolabhere for the episode "A Lost Claus").

11/08/07: Horrible news for us Fostards from the Great White North! Teletoon has seemed to have pulled Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends from their line up! If you go to their website ( [link] ) you will find that the mini-site has been removed as well as all mention of the show.

Me thinks it's time to go up in arms about this, eh? If you are from Canada and want to see this program continue in our fair country, please send a polite letter to Teletoon telling them we want our Fosters back! Otherwise we'll be waiting for DVD's of the show or being forced to download.

How to Join~!

1. You don't have to have any Fosters related work to join, just the love for the show.
2. To join send a note to *subzeroace with the subject "Joining Fosters Club" (note: you can send a request to the club account, but you'll probably have to wait quite awhile to get a reply)
3. Read that 2nd rule again; that means don't leave a message on this club to join, your request will be ignored.
4. This goes the same for becoming an affiliate.

How to Submit Art~!

1. Draw/Write/Make it.
2. Put it on DA.
3. Note *subzeroace with it's address here on DA. (note: you can send a request to the club account, but you'll probably have to wait quite awhile to get a reply)
4. We will put it up in the clubs gallery with a link to the original and you.
5. People will stare in awe of your work and end up fav'ing the version in this club even though we clearly said to follow the link and fav the original... *sigh* Kids these days...
